Day 18

Saturday, March 22nd

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

(Philippians 4:6-7 MSG)

Pray this prayer for your loved one every day this week, filling in the blanks with their name/pronoun.

Each day we will start and end the prayer in the same way:

This prayer is taken from Ephesians 3:16-19 (NLT)

Lord Jesus, I invite you in.

____________ is your beloved child

Let your will be done today in ____________ life, just as it is in heaven

I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower ____________ with inner strength through His Spirit. Then Christ will make His home in ____________ heart as ____________ trusts in Him. ____________ roots will grow down into God’s love and keep ____________ strong. And may ____________ have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is.

May ____________ experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then ____________ will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

____________ is your beloved child.

Let your will be done today in ____________ life, just as it is in heaven.

Amen
