Differences:

• For the first time ever, we’re partnering directly with local schools in our city: by working with teachers and counsellors, we’re able to identify those students early so no child slips through the cracks.

• This is the beginning of a new partnership with locall schools that will allow us to continue providing ongoing support to kids and families throughout the 2026 school year.

• Also for the first time, we’re partnering with Save-On Foods for hamper shopping in our very own All is Bright store. They’ve generously offered to host a fully stocked All Is Bright Store inside their downtown Chilliwack location.

• Each volunteer will be shopping for both pantry staples for the family’s food hamper and gifts for the children in that same family.

• Everything will be delivered to the same family and address (may be multiple deliveries depending on how many children you sign up to shop for).
  
  

For anyone wondering, yes!  We will still help families whose children are too young for school! They can simply select “Pre-K” on the registration form.

No formal childcare is provided, but children are more than welcome to join under the supervision of their parents or guardians.

There will be Christmas movies and treats for kids at the event too!

We don’t receive government grants or have one wealthy donor who funds our church or initiatives like these!

We can continue to bless our city, through things like this $500,000 initiative and all our ministries here at Southside, ONLY because ordinary people like you give sacrificially.

We are not waiting to “fundraise” this money, we are giving it away from our general fund whether the money comes in or not!

Absolutely! We encourage everyone to spread the word, invite others, and share the joy of giving with family and friends to make this our brightest year yet.

All is Bright began in 2016. We were a smaller church then and we gave $10,000 and 500 service hours to our city for Christmas.

That was a massive goal for us back then!

God has prompted us to never lose the feeling of being stretched and uncomfortable with our goals. He is always asking us to maintain that same feeling of “sacrifice”, no matter how many people call Southside home now!

Over the years, our goals and our faith have grown but what will always remain is this: we will continue to live simply so that others can simpy live.

If you need assistance with wrapping, come to our Wrapping Day on Friday, November 28th, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm at Southside Church.

Wrapping paper, tape, and scissors will be provided!

Volunteers will also be there, ready and more than willing to help you wrap, should you need any assistance.
