Small Groups
We don’t heal, grow or thrive in isolation: we do in community.
With group options for men, women, married couples, and all ages and stages: let us help you find your people!
FAQ’s
-
Small groups are groups of 5-12 people, who meet during the week - either in a leader’s home or at the church building.
Typical groups are together for 2 hours in the evening and the focus is talking about Sunday’s sermon, making friends and learning how to follow Jesus, together!
-
Every week, our small group team writes a study guide about the sermon from the previous Sunday. Questions that are relevant to all of us, like:
What stood out to you when Pastor Mike said ___?
Read this verse in the Bible… How do you think that applies to our lives today?
Can you think of an example of ____ from your own life?
How are you doing and how can this group pray for you?
-
Small groups are a come-as-you-are, low-stakes opportunity to connect with other people. You don’t need to know a lot about the Bible, or have years of church experience to fit in!
If you love Sunday sermons, want to grow in your faith and want to connect with some new friends about what they’re learning too, a small group is perfect for you.
-
At Southside, we have men’s groups, women’s groups, and married couple's groups, as well as specialized young adult groups (18-30)!
Our small group staff team would love to meet you at our 101 Class (once a month, on Sundays after our 11:45 service) - once you attend, we’ll help you find the right fit!
-
We are SO glad you’re taking this step into community and developing your faith!
While you are definitely welcome to join a small group right off the jump, if church, God and the whole Christianity thing is new for you, we recommend attending and connecting at our Welcome Home group first!

Registration for Small Groups is closed (for now!)
If you’re looking to get connected before the New Year, check out our Campus Group options below. Our next semester of Small Groups opens in January - stay tuned!
