Overseers
The Southside Overseers are a team of trusted and spiritually mature individuals who hold formal decision-making authority on behalf of the church. Their primary role is to safeguard the integrity, direction, and sustainability of Southside by approving and overseeing key financial and leadership decisions. While the church is led by staff, the Overseers provide accountability, support, and essential guardrails for the most critical areas of governance.

The Southside Advisory Team is a group of trusted leaders who provide wisdom and perspective to the Senior Pastor. While they do not have formal decision-making authority, their role is to offer insight and feedback on key matters affecting the church. This team serves as a sounding board, helping the Senior Pastor navigate complex challenges, refine vision, and ensure alignment with Southside’s mission and values. Their input is invaluable in shaping strategic direction while allowing the Senior Pastor to make informed, prayerful decisions.
