  • Lent is a Christian tradition that goes back nearly 1700 years.

During this 40-day season (Monday-Saturday each week), Christians all around the world will turn their hearts towards Jesus in reflection of the miracle of Easter.

  • Some people choose to give up something enjoyable in their lives (TV, junk food, shopping, sleeping in, etc.) and devote that time and energy to something that focuses their hearts on God. We call this a ‘fast’. You don’t need to fast to participate.

The purpose of Lent is to prepare our hearts for Easter as we focus on Jesus.

  • Daily Time spent with God

Commit to meeting with God daily, Monday through Saturday, until Easter.

    • Use the Bible and follow along with these John Ortberg devotionals:

      Weekly Church Attendance

      Personal Fast
