Day 11
Saturday, March 15th
Scripture Prayer
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
(Philippians 4:6-7 MSG)
Pray this prayer every day this week for the person you’ve committed to praying for. Fill in the blanks in the following prayer with your loved one’s name/pronoun. Each day we will start and end the prayer in the same way:
Lord Jesus, I invite you in.
____________ is your beloved child
(Saying this deepens the experience of looking at this person through God’s eyes and not through our own, which are often clouded by our own ideas, guilt, anger, fault-finding tendencies, and fear.)
Then we will say:
Let your will be done today in ____________ life, just as it is in heaven.
(Saying this helps you focus not on what you think your loved one needs, but on your trust that God knows what they need.)
This prayer is taken from Psalm 23:
Lord Jesus, I invite you in.
____________ is your beloved child. Let your will be done in ____________ life as it is in heaven
The Lord is ____________ shepherd, _____________ lack[s] nothing.

Even though ____________ walk[s] through the darkest valley, ____________ will fear no evil, for you are with ____________; your rod and your staff, they comfort ____________.
You prepare a table before ____________ in the presence of ____________ enemies. You anoint ____________ head with oil; ____________ cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow ____________ all the days of ____________ life, and ____________ will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
