Southside Young Adults is a great community of young people aged 18-25ish that meet weekly for Bible study, Small Groups, social events and more.
We meet at Southside Place on Monday nights at 7:00 p.m. throughout the school year. We meet as one big group for coffee and snacks and music, then break into our Small Groups for Bible study and discussion. This approach, of breaking into Small Groups, allows for a ministry that focuses on discipleship (applying the Bible to your life). At the end of each study time, all the Small Groups meet back together again to hang out.
Outreach Nights take place about once a month within our Small Groups. Examples of the outreaches we have done in the past are visiting old folks homes, baking cookies for neighbours and volunteering with homeless shelters. The Small Groups also help with Sunday morning take-down at church once every four weeks.
In the summer, we meet here and there for different events and for a camping trip. Southside’s Young Adults ministry is a great place for people to enjoy community and go deeper in their relationship with God. We would love to see you out!
