Having a men’s program can be a difficult thing. Most men are busy working long hours, and spending time with their families. But it’s important sometimes to get away from the business of life, and to have a place where men can get together. We have a few different places for men to do just this.

Each week, on Thursday mornings at the Church Office, we have a men’s prayer meeting. This is a chance for the men to come together to pray as a group, for just about any topic or subject. It’s a chance to be together and to meet others, and is a great way to start the day!

Often, men are most at home while they’re working. We have lots of opportunity to volunteer within the church and community. In fact this website has a volunteer opportunities page dedicated to giving you places where your help would be appreciated. One of the favorites for men is the Sunday morning set-up crew. Every Sunday morning, men meet together to set-up our sound system, chairs, and stage. It’s another way to get connected with other men at SouthSide.

We know God has a plan for each and every man. Where will God’s plan lead you? If there isn’t a ministry already in progress that you believe God is calling you to, perhaps you should start one! Whatever the case, we long to see men grow in their faith, and we know that when that happens, men become better fathers, husbands, and better people.
